In 1993, with the success of the Just For Laughs Festival, Gilbert Rozon created a place to recognize laughter and humour as cultural phenomena - the Just For Laughs Museum (JFLM). The Museum's history is marked by many challenging happenings - some sidesplitting, some discouraging, but none boring.

The Just For Laughs Museum is a venue for thematic exhibitions, a multi-functional space for the presentation of public, private or professional events, and a media documentation centre for the promotion, research and distribution of information about laugher, humour and fantasy. It celebrates these aspects of the human condition using a fun approach that appeals to a diverse audience, including children and young people.

The Just For Laughs Museum is a unique venue for your events In the heart of the very trendy Saint-Laurent boulevard neighbourhood, the Just For Laughs Museum offers multifunctional event spaces. Whether you are looking to create a warm, elegant, magical, hip or chic atmosphere, the JFLM has what you're looking for.

Rooms:

Each space is unique and can accommodate from 12 to 1 800 guests. No matter what type of reception you are organizing - private, public or professional - the Just For Laughs Museum offers a unique experience that you will love.

Le Studio
Le Studio is an intimate venue with a stage and a mezzanine, and is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting. Le Studio can accommodate up to 800 guests and is perfect for shows, launches, visual presentations, cocktails, press conferences, parties and dances.

La Galerie
La Galerie is a stately hall that can accommodate up to 550 guests and offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The mezzanine, which can serve as a private lounge, cocktail area or balcony, looks out onto the hall. You'll find that La Galerie is ideal for your lunches, business meetings, presentations or press conferences.

Le Salon Rouge
Le Salon Rouge offers the a great atmosphere for your small get-togethers, business meetings and cocktails.

Le Ciné-Club
This private screening room has 50 seats and is an intimate theatre - the ideal location for networking cocktails.

Le Loft
You will be simply captivated by this magnificent hall, the only one of its kind in Montréal, with its striking skylights and 20-foot windows. With 6 300 square feet of space and accommodating up to 500 guests, Le Loft is ideal for large-scale events such as private soirées, exhibitions, filming, launches, press conferences, corporate events or lavish receptions.
